The Yesterday & Today are white and red plates on a table, which covered with a black PVC tablecloth. There are 10 pairs of the plates there. Each pair of the series appears as a single motif, so they can be rearranged at will. In one further appearance in a portfolio, viewers could select any motif from the series (on the photo) and read author`s interpretations. The texts provoke the spectator to interpret all images in his own, original vision. For the artist the white plate is like a symbol of yesterday, and the red one as today. The instalation featured also some caviar-like food placed on the plates or the tablecloth. These white and red beads suggested a metathor of acquisions and wastes of life. Yesterday & Today continues to implement author`s ambition to "create one new visual language by means of duplex forms."
1. The red plate is a symbol of today, the white one is a symbol of yesterday.
2. You get everything.
3. Sometimes it isn`t possible to understand, to separate old and new.
4. The acquisions of today are in a conflict with the previous acquisitions. There`re wastes there.
5. If events are going too fast, as a result, waste, wastes...
6. Yesterday you got that that you have to get today, but today something you have to get yesterday.
7. There were wastes yesterday. There are wastes today.
8. During the last time you are moving on a quite different way. There`s acquisitions, but wastes, too.
9. Today`s acquisitions as a continuations of yesterday`s...
10. Such kind of relation new and old, that there`re few acquisitions there.
